What is this survey about?
We are conducting a survey to understand the current state of the profession - Project Manager. It may seem that the profession has been reborn and is now represented by a large number of different professions: Delivery Manager, Proxy Product Manager, Scrum Manager, Product Managers, Event Manager, etc. The names are different, but the principles are the same. With the help of the survey, we want to see how the profession has been reborn today!
Survey objectives
- We are not interested in finding out the current income in the profession. There are other survey and articles for this (both are in Russian)
- The news writes a lot about the implementation of AI. But to what extent has this tool penetrated the work of the Project Manager?
- Are there any specifics of the work of the Project Manager depending on the country?
- What criteria do project managers see as helping them achieve the project result?
- How and what resources do project managers use today for their development?
- Where do Project Managers come to the profession from?
- How do experience and industry influence the profession and the tools used?
Audience of respondents
We expect at least 2,000 respondents to take part in the survey.
These are people with the following professions: Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, Program Manager, Director of Projects, Head of PMO… If your responsibilities are to bring an organization, people, systems from one state to another, under conditions of limited resources - you are our respondent!
Fields of interest - IT, Marketing, Manufacturing, Construction, Banking and others. We are not limited to IT only.
Regions of our interest
European and Asian continents. We expect that the survey will be able to go beyond the Russian-speaking community (and you can help us with this):
- European countries
- Central and South Asian countries
Timeline
We plan to conduct the survey once every 2 years. In 2024, we will conduct the first Big Study.
- Data collection stage starts - September 2024
- Data collection ends - November 30, 2024
- Report publication in English - February 2025
